On a side note I have been trying to work out how to augment my X1's NHL so I can make the most of this "ploop synth" idea for a couple of weeks but I cannot quite get my head around it. Any ideas?

he is just using a gate with a 1/32 loop, then adding some 'Plooping' Typical to laidback luke. It sounds shit

What do you mean? It MUST be good if Laidback Luke is doing it? I mean, it's not like any one else has ever done this before or anything.

its good for a build to a drop, but for a section that long like 2 mins. Geez way too much.

on traktor. micro-loop and instead of cue, use xfader. add effects or key mod on preference.
but i have to say, it was toooooo annoyin :P

Yeah, he played with it too much, i mean, i would use it only to play the Seven nation army part and then eventually drop seven nation army bootleg in. That or any other track i can manage to imitate, but not a 2 min electro-solo.
