i went to see the audioprothesist. Now i have some damn good custom 250$CAN earplugs. ER-25 i think..

Satisfied. My ears are more valuable than 250$.

Filters are popping a little bit out of my ears because i have small ears. You notice them, but i don't care. It looks professional IMHO.

I have seen It's all gone pete tong about 1 month after i got tinitus, i flipped out lol.

To the guys that don't think they need them: I'm 19 and i don't do too much musical loudness excess.

Does anybody here use in ear monitors instead of headphones?

I was diggin around for new Iphone earbuds and found http://www.ultimateears.com/_ultimateears/

I could see how using IEMs might be more comfortable than headphones if you got them custom molded, and they would also provide hearing protection. Seems like a decent idea.

As I said in the DJ Addict-Thread, am looking into this as well; had a look into this as well. Professional ones are easily in the four digits, I will try to find out about the Sennheiser IE-series, because I'm quite tempted by the IE7, but not before finding out if they are any good. UltimateEars are nice as well- don't know about individual casted earplugs though...
I mix stuff on my things...
