These cable LOOK great. If I could afford 'em, I'd probably buy 'em.

    But I can't, so I won't.

    But I wish I could...

I shouldn't worry too much about the flames in this thread, mate.

'Cos you can afford stuff like this:

Just sit back and enjoy 'em...

Thanks, but to clear up the other guys post, im
def NOT rich, and so far away from it, I made a choice. now to many it might not have seem like the most logical because I can buy any usb cable for example like xonetacular said for 3 bucks, Ive had usb cables take a shit on me, its inevitable, and you cant prevent it, the jakets on the typical usb cords wear in time due to attentuation and theres no getting away from that at all, end clips breaking apart, and also drop outs, Ive had the unfortunate liberty of being one of those guys and im sure everyone here has at one point, where the party is going just right and boom (dead silence) only to find out the usb cable was the culprit. I saw the design as a plus, its rugged, and seems like they can take a beating, (Ive invested into equipment and ive never made choice I wasnt comfortable with, these cables did hit the bank hard, but only in time will show whether the investment was well worth it)

Im in the IT and Telecommunications field and I will say this (and im sure many are aware by now) USB cables are made cheap for the obvious of profit, at our expense, Ive seen new usb cables go quick and some surprisingly still kicking, ive cut many in half and those that claim have shielding "arent" and there are those that do. When you have an array of frequencies and interferences theres always the possibility on ingress and cross interference, reason being because I deal with this everyday and more specifically on copper lines, if anyone has had the liberty to run a spectrum analyzer you would be surprised of the amount of interference passing through a cable even with a standard and or basic shielding (which most of the time is aluminum) and or aluminum braiding.

Its a risk im not going to take anymore, Only time will tell how these cables perform and ill gladly update everyone on it in time.
