    I don't think it's an even comparison either... neither of those two are capable of doing what VDJ can do The problem is the potential hasn't been unleashed yet... If you want to debate VDJ start another & thread I'll gladly take part but this one is about the op's midi fx guitar.

    Also you are dealing with three of the most biased djtt members, Popinjay is the advocate for xwax, zestoi is a mixxx developer and you can guess my favorite LOL...

    Which is why you make sure you do it right and don't fiddle with things you don't understand. Exactly the same goes for mapping in Traktor.

    Not true. Mapping in Traktor does not allow you to change elements of the scripting. It only allows you to specify what Controls on your Controller are mapped to in Traktor.

    Just like in VDJ. If you mess it up your controller isn't going to behave the way you want it to.

    You can't alter the VDJ source code, you're not going to break the program itself. You can only change how it reacts to midi messages.
