A few years ago I used the FLAC format a lot.
It sounds excellent and is lossless, but imo its too clunky. Not enough support in music programs, enormous files sizes... I don't know. It's cool, but I'll stick to my 192kbps+ mp3 for now.
I wouldn't delete those files just yet. I'd keep 'em until you get the higher quality versions. Why ditch all your music before your even sure you can replace it?ok so should i just delete all the lower bitrate songs and try to find another subscription service to download them?
