So i thought it wasn't working for the longest time. But nonetheless I now have my mix in one AAC file. and it's under songs. When i play it on my iphone it plays normally without any gaps, but it allows me to skip to each song that I set up, as well it gives me the option to look at all the songs in my mix in order and allows me to select a section to go to (they're all labeled with the track names). All in all i'm pretty pleased. Now let's see if people will actually make use of it or not lol.
Dude. If you're on a Mac, Garageband does a more than passable job of creating enhanced AAC podcasts, with not only tracksplits, but (if you like) individual cover art for each track.

    No need to spend money

Yea I realized that, just afterwards. I must admit though, this app really does it all (it allows you to set individual cover art for each track, etc). And it is extremely simple.

I'll try it out with Garageband tonight and let you know which one works out better.

I've always had bad luck with Garageband in the past, and that is why I choose to do all my audio edits and exporting in Audacity, or somewhere else.

Here's some screens of how my finished mix ended up. These were taken from an iPhone 4.

Now we need to verify if you can upload your mix to Soundcloud. When your friends download it from Soundcloud, does it load up exactly like your pictures?

    Hey guys,

So i tried it with Garageband (you have to select to do a podcast). Garageband is actually better than the method I posted earlier. With the previous version there was a tiny gap between each of the chapters, whereas with the garageband version there is absolutely no gap and it's one complete seamless mix.

I feel like an idiot for paying the $5 for the other app, but hey I can still use it for other things.

As for soundcloud...if soundcloud accepts AAC then it should definitely be able to be downloaded as is when people download it from your soundcloud page. Essentially soundcloud doesn't alter the file that gets downloaded, it just alters the audio that is used in the soundcloud audio player so that it streams better, but if you upload a mix with your pictures and markers all in the AAC file it will be exactly as you had it when you uploaded.

    Hope that helps guys!
