    That's all it takes, man.

Oh, and I've used Traktor for years.
I'm currently playing on a 3ish year old Dell with power issues.....

The laptop doesn't charge unless I wiggle the cord around. Also, the battery is pretty much effed so I get like 3 minutes on a full charge.
I played a show with this laptop on Friday...

I should probably fix my laptop.
Setup: Kontrol S2, Komplete Audio 6, Maschine Mikro Akai LPD 8, Akai Mpk49, Traktor 2, Ableton Suite 8.

I'd apologize for the terrible circumstance and let them know I'd be happy to hang out and still be a part of things as best I could, but unfortunately, due to their own negligence they wont be getting the performance they paid for.
I would also be quite interested in seeing a copy of this contract. Any chance of showing us?

Apart from the power issues (don't knock the power lead out!), and come to think of it a CD burner that only reads, my laptop is stable as you like.

All the bits necessary for Traktor to work, work perfectly.

mac laptops are the way to go. stable, durable. i made the switch to macintosh 5 years ago and could not get paid enough to go back to a pc. but as far as the poll goes, no matter how good ur laptop is, always be prepared for the unexpected and always bring an up to date cd book with you. computers crash, cd's dont

Laptops are generally stable, PC or Mac, if you treat them right. Just gotta keep unnecessary shit off of them, keep your virus and ad-ware scans up to date and make constant and accurate backups.

When using sensitive technology to up your game you need to treat it with respect so it treats you with love.

I couldn't agree with you more. But the inevitable always happens when you least expect it. and you should ALWAYS plan for the worst.

people don't plan to fail, they fail to plan.

    Anything could happen by accident.
