Take it as a lesson. Do your research first before you buy. There is a LOT of DJ gear out there, and not everything will do what you want. Read up before buying anything.

I set up my cdjs to Traktor in midi and everything appears to be working. However, Deck B is playing at full volume even though the volume fader is all the way down. I also noticed that the "A" on Deck A is yellow, while the "B" isn't lit up at all, although it plays perfectly. Any tips?

Have you set Traktor to External Mixing mode?

Yellow is Deck Focus, only relevant if you have focus-specific mappings.

    Yes, it's in external mode.

You have Deck A routed through your 1st CDJ into the 1st channel of your mixer, and Deck B through the 2nd CDJ into the 2nd channel of your mixer?

By volume faders are you referring to the physical faders on your DJM?

Everything is routed correctly. Yes, I'm referring to the fader on the DJM.

Probably got the monitor/master outputs reversed and cue enabled on Deck B.

Do any of the 3 faders on the DJM affect Deck B?

There is no monitor output in External mode.

In terms of sound, I'm getting no control (highs/mids/lows) out of Deck B. Play and looping are working perfectly.

No monitor output? So I should be in Internal mode?

Traktor sends both Deck A and Deck B outputs at full volume to each channel on your DJM, leaving the mixer to handle monitor functions.

You can only use External mode with your setup. Could you post a screenshot of your Traktor Output routing and quickly go over how you have things connected?
