Someone should add Traktor to that list :-)

I for one have SL but think I'll wait a few weeks, maybe up to a month before upgrading.
My gut tells me that it's not going to have many issues..... Its not so much a full OS, rather than a bunch of tweaks all put together in one bundle. Yeah they've introduced GCD, 64bit, etc, but as far as I can tell drivers will still run 32bit (unless im horribly mistaken) and programs only run 64bit if they're designed for it. Much like 64bit Windows. (again, unless im horribly mistaken).
Overall I consider SL to be the Windows service pack of the Mac world.

Im quite content to let other people be the Guinea Pigs for SL.
Gliches are popping up on the NI forum and im happy to let the NI Devs get a better grip on SL before i update.
Remember its 3rd party drivers that peeps may have problems with. Check with your hardware manufacturers .

NIs statement says to proceed with caution which i interpret as , leave it a while.

Can Say much but I ran TK Pro with internal mix mode and the internal sound card... loaded to tracks, everything seemed to work ... but this was a 2m quick test...

That's what's cool about it...it just APPEARS to be a service pack.

Now the Grand Central Dispatch is "for-real" you're going to start seeing some amazing things, like DSP being done on your video card, which is largely unloaded when running something like Traktor. This means you're gonna be able to have some intense effects (like a Logic reverb...think "Thievery Corporation") in real-time instead of post-processing...

...I can't even anticipate what this means in the sound world, but, expect some cool stuff.

Don't know whether this is due to snow leopard or not but the NI Service Center doesn't work for me. I doesn't really hang up but stops during the self update. This circle on the bottom right stilll rotates but according to little snitch its not downloading anything.

Id like to tell you its one or the other BUT ive read a few people having problems with Snow Leopard and Service Center.
Obviously it could just be the dreaded Service Centre Loop of Death. If so, go on the NI support site and download the latest version of Service Centre. Doesnt matter if your up to date with Service Centre because its a known fix that simply reinstalling it makes it work.

Of course it could be SL, but i dont know. I hoping that an SL and Service Centre bug isnt the reality.

I got impatient and installed SL last night. Tested Traktor which works just as before, and Service Centre opens and works as expected.

I also love the fact that I can now minimise applications into the dock shortcut itself, instead of having the window fly into some retarded limbo zone on the end of the dock. Whoever thought of giving the ability to remove that feature should be given a pat on the back. And maybe a beer.
