On a related note, The Guardian piece ref the new album... prat using the awful 'EDM' term along side 'Daft Punk'.. what a c0ck!

Discovery is my favourite album of all time, for me it's just unbeatable. That guardian piece is awful! "Oui are the robots"! Somebody slap that bitch.

That sounds awesome! Where can you even get that done?

Definitely ordering a copy…just have to decide CD vs. CD + Vinyl.
    Get both

I did for Leftfield 'Rhythm & Stealth', bought the CD and the limited 5x10" boxset, had to be done

Homework was amazing, da funk, rollin & scratchin, alive, around the world... just french house, epic!!!
Discovery was even cooler, One More Time is BEST EDM SONG EVER, bitches, also aerodynamic, digital love and harder better faster stronger are INCREDIBLE!!
Human After All was pretty shit, but it sounded well live, I mean, I love PTOYL vs Brainwasher vs. Rollin & Scratchin, and also Technologic vs. Robot Rock, but the other songs were lame in Human After All.
Random Access Memories seems EPIC, I cannot say anything else. I've only listened to 2 little fragments of songs from the album, and it's AWESOME. Just cannot wait for 26th april!!!! AHHHH!!!

Nobody talk about TRON Legacy OST but it was an awesome album too for his genre.

there's no way this album can live up to its astronomical expectations. i'm expecting a moderately good cd in which case it will turn out to be a classic when i listen to it

me too. an amazing introduction. but just that, an introduction. i still listen to some of their stuff from time to time but their music was never "legendary" for me. i can't help but think if daft punk is the gold standard then maybe dance music as a whole is too repetitive and loopy. that's not a knock on them but it's just disappointing that no one else can make edm as melodic and "musical" as they and justice have.

that said interstella 5555 is one of the coolest things any band has ever done with an album.
