I have the non-Thudrumble version of this mixer and its the most fun Ive ever had with a mixer (needless to say I have a lot of mixers).

Only downside is that because of the hollow build quality (not bad, just hollow) it has a rather annoying thumpy rumble when battering the x-fader at low volume. Other than that and the lack of cue master (grrr) it's simply the best £99 I ever spent.

Isn't it about time you stopped having to pay for kit?

Some people are all about InnoFaders Slv0r, I find them another product of over used brand name marketing :P.. put a name on something and it appears fabulous because of its price and.. some text you slapped on it (I dont see sticker for the innofaders on this particular one so I dunno)

But hey whatever, another cheap mixer on the market to go along with the 20 other models.. shrug.. It will benefit alot of people and meet the needs of many bedroom DJs.. good on them I guess.

Here's some actual information on different fader types that might explain why the Innofader is as popular as it is.

"I find them another product of over used brand name marketing :P" - There are several thousand DJs who would entirely disagree with this statement. Anyone who has ever deconstructed an Innofader and compared it with a standard fader like an ALPHA or ALPS fader knows they are like night and day....

Thats the exact same rubbish Windows users use when they have never ever even tried a Mac.

Have you ever used an Innofader?

How many different Faders have you used?

    Do you Scratch?

He's not wrong though tbh, the Innofader in the DIF-1S is the Innofader Mini; it's uncustomizable, only available to OEMs, based on a completely different technology to the Innofader.

The mini is a modified carbon track fader, based on one of these units: http://www.a-pluset.com/index_topic..../175545/175565 - the normal Innofader, on the other hand, is a bespoke "Capacitance fader". Don't get me wrong, the Mini is still a high quality piece of kit, but it's NOT the same as a normal Innofader.

With that said, the TR-1S does look gorgeous.

Where are you reading that the Mini is a carbon fader? The Innofader website claims that it's capacitive like the other Innofaders.
