Did you record this in several sessions? I like how Drewski appears then disappears like magic.

Would you mind giving just a little more explanation about how you mapped the slots? I don't quite understand what you mean by "mapping the slots in a vertical row". You mentioned that the previous sample cuts out the last one played, but isn't that how the F1 typically works anyway?

I would appreciate any insight. Once again, killer job.
Glad you enjoyed it man! As for the mapping, I'll to explain it a bit more clearly! Basically there are certain sections where I took a track or several tracks, chopped them into individual pieces and replayed them as something new. if you open up your f1, you can trigger 16 slots (4 in each row). If you have slot one in row one playing, clicking another button in row 1 will cut it off, however hitting a button in row 2 will not. You can normally hit the orange buttons at the bottom with your other hand to stop the previous row (which is what i did around 30 mins in my b2b with drew), but there are certain parts where I'm drumming with both hands and I'm not able to do that. Basically, one of the pages in the maschine is set up such that all the buttons are mapped to different slots in the same row (on different pages); it basically allows me to do what I described above with one hand instead of two, letting me add another layer of sound with my other hand. hopefully that makes sense, its alot more straight forward than it sounds

Yea man, due to sched conflicts we had to record drews part separate from the rest of the mix tape. That was probably for the best anyways, it would have been weird if his set up was sitting there unused for the whole video haha

Apparently, he's a well known dubstep producer. Obviously, a good friend of Skream. My mate who's a kind of well known dubstep producer claims he knows him, but he won't disclose who he is haha.

Interesting haha, I wonder who it is. Sounds like we need to kidnap and interrogate your mate.
