I use to DJ a club in Montreal. Patrons would get pissed they couldn't request English songs in French (as I didn't speak much French then)...Then you play the song and they sing along with the English lyrics.

Exactly there I was browsing for some prog house one day recently well the genre is now what id call commercial house or cheese house... I guess prog house i am thinking of is called deep house now and deep house is now called techno even though techno was 132-139 range and now it's 118-125 not sure.
