That seems to be the general view . I'm hard pressed to think of any DJ or producer name that's ever actually wowd me. It's all about the music I could careless what you're called. This name thing has always just felt like a massive unnecessary road block.

Agreed - just use your real name - or an alias

Yea I would Recommend just using an Alias of some sort. I mix under the name Garth Wayne, Could it be my real name? Maybe. is it? not even close. Your name needs to be something thats easy to remember and something that wont sound dumb 3 years from now once someone stumbles upon one of your mixes or songs. Let your music speak for you, your pseudonym is just the cover of the book.
