Well. I played my set this weekend and my gear performed 120% successfully and i played the set of my life. When i was setting up...i showed my arcade VCI off and got a few....thats cute.....looks dinky....what the fuck is that....tight mods dude.....However....i hadnt even gotten thru my intro and they were all gobsmacked. Had like five guys looking over my shoulder in disbelief. Lol....it was great! All my tricks and shit were perfect and the beatgrids well set. I also mixed harmonically for the majority of the mixes. Hehe....it was certainly the hardest pounding set i ever played. Seventeen Psy tracks in an hour! Thats unheard of here. I already have four new gigs lined up just from my performance last night. Man....i am just so stoked my gear can now be trusted. I am still floating.....did that really happen? Haha. I did not record the set...but i got a decent amount of video footage that i will post later this week. I really was golden....not quite Ean Golden.....but golden none the less. I made sure to punt DjTT and all Eans good work. The green buttons were amazing. They were so bright i had trouble seeing which headphone cue button was lit. Wow....wow....wow....i have entered a new dimension in Djing here in Cape Town. Everyone that i chatted to afterwards now is so checking out Controllerism. Specially the producers....they love their midi gear already! Thanks to all who helped we with advice and tips. I ended up not using AutoGain...but did use the limiter and set the Master Out to minus three Db. Woooot!

Congratulations, man. Can't wait to see those videos.
I'm not good at things, but I like to pretend I am.

Fuck....my mate is a dumbass. Bless him for trying tho. He got the first few shots....then left the lens shut on the camera for the remainder of the disc. Haha. So have about 2 to 5 mins of actual footage...the crowd my hands and laptop screen and one from the crowd perspective. However! Another dude who always films the parties says he has some of me and i can collect it tomorrow. Can only upload it on Friday when i get back to work. Haha... 148 bpm madness. I must admit...i did bang it a bit....but i have reason. Firstly...to silence a few critics. I have a rep for being the guy who plays it pretty hard and was recently told i should be playing earlier in the evening as i was not really hard anymore. The guys before me... Dirty Motion really pushed it too. They had some really hard trax....but the crowd were asking for more. Haha. Then to be sure i made an impact with the gear so it would draw attention and put my mind at ease and trust my rig. I am sure more Djs will be a lot more interested in controllerism now in our scene... i just need to rack up some real playing time on it. I learnt a lot too. Make sure you have you cans on when you try and scratch. Mine was a bit delayed. Also...i need to lose a few pounds. Haha. Cant wait to see the other footage. Still stoked!!!

17 tracks in an hour? My kinda mix.
    It's the FAQ. Read it.

Well done bro, Playing after dirty motion's gotta be a challenge and a half. Their tracks are pretty full on from what i'v heard. That reminds me to re-burn a couple of cds, slug also. Down here the psy scene is a little bit hippyish/elitist. Lots of little crews running parties out in the bush at a massive loss, nothing big really. Sounds like the SA massive is up for anything eh. look forward to checking out whatever footage you've salvaged.

    Really awesome sara!
From what you've said you've made it!
    Congratulations!
I know you didn't record you gig but can you share your tracklist please?
I'm not really into the MiK alredy, but I wanna know how does it sound when you mix in key on psytrance.
I've played this weekend asweel, for 5 people but I got everyboy dancing and laughing for 5 hours in a row. After that I've made a chill out session and almost everybody was sleeping in 30 minutes

I really need more knobs and faders
