And that's the frustrating part of it, cause it did work for a a day or so, then the situation began to deteriorate first it wouldn't give me ins and outs when it would select the denon Asio driver then Traktor would crash when I would try to select the denon Asio driver. It's very strange

Now would be the time to try the 64-bit Traktor and ASIO drivers combination.

    If that doesn't help:
Delete unused drivers for NI products if you have them installed. Unused midi mappings that were imported.
Then do that trick with deleting Traktor settings file so it reverts to defaults.
When rebuilding your setup, start first with just the X600, everything else unplugged. When you have it configured, add more devices (SC3900's and other).
If that doesn't help, delete and reinstall Traktor.

I tried the 64 bit versions, but will give the re configure you recommend, the setup did work for a while so I think that will weed out the faulty configuration I have been dealing with, I'm playing a wedding tomorrow using the fully functional Audio 6 setup so needless to say I will be doing this next week, but thanks for your advice again

The story goes that Denon asked NI to certify the x600 but NI said no. Denon are not allowed to extrapolate beyond that. The key I personally think is the scratch control, I think NI is keen to protect that particular property and only licence certain non-NI hardware.
I have a feeling you will end up doing what I've done; have a working NI interface and bypassing the x600 as the sound card altogether. It does work but I get the pitch control issues and using my Audio 8 solves that so that's what I use. The x600 still kicks arse as a pure hardware mixer and I love the FX on it too, I never bother with Traktors own FX.
    Live rig: Denon Prime (5000M's)
Retired: Denon x1700, Denon SC3900's, Traktor, Technics SL1200's, my vinyl
Wish list: Some Roland Aira stuff.

I think your issues have nothing to do with NI but with crappy Denon ASIO drivers and SC3900's non-perfect copy of Traktor timecode (because of licencing issues if generating a identical copy). But that's just my opinion...

Also, the proper story is that Denon made X600 and then NI refused (or demanded too much $$$, basically the same) to certify it for TSP because they were already making their own 2ch mixer - the Z2. Denon probably stayed silent about how NI fracked them over in hopes of futher mutual cooperation and NDA.
Thankfully, X600 uses the same ASIO driver for windows as the certified bigger brothers X1600/X1700 so it just works. Just not for mac users. But, there's always the hex hack (if it's still possible with new Traktor versions).

Btw the entire Denon mixer section is discontinued since day or two. That could mean something new is on the way.

The denon, audio 6 combo preformed like a champ yesterday, so if all I'm missing is the ability to use Denon's internal sound card, I'm good

Good afternoon all, please allow me to pick your brains once again....
I am still using the sc3900x2, DN x600, Traktor 2, now the mixer will play for a while then it will unexpectedly freeze (music will stop and be replaced by a high pitched tone from headphones and speakers, buttons, lights and VU, will freeze) and will remain until I power off, but upon immediate, power on the display will flash "600", but it seems if I power off and allow some time to pass I can power on to normal operation and after a time the cycle will start again.

Curtis, it's very difficult to solve such issues when you're not doing consistent troubleshooting. It just seems you are doing random things and hoping something will work.

I'm sorry but I was trying to be as clear as I could, the only troubleshooting I did was power everything up (sc3900x2, dnx600, Kontrol x1 mk2,) music would play fine then mixer would freeze and when I would power cycle the mixer it would flash 600
