-- CHECK our DEBUT (DEEP)HOUSE EP RELEASE ON BEATPORT "RSTRCTD - EXISTENCE" --
The only thing that would suprise me is if they released an all-inclusive stable version of T3.
What won't suprise me is if they release T4, or something, that is full of promises and expectations but falls short of them.
I'm still a loyal NI guy though.
I still use Traktor v2.5.3 because 3X is so buggy and unreliable, and because of the functionality that's broken as the versions allegedly advance. It's very disappointing to me, because 4 decks, X:One 4-channel EQ, and onboard fx are very appealing to me, but not at the cost of reliability and reasonable ergonomics. T4 isn't going to do NI any favors, either.
I still have 2.5 Im gonna install it as a backup over the weekend.
always my fav DJ prog.
cant wait to see what they will do w/a major revision.
they need to give it more bells & whistles while making i more stable.
it's looking long in the tooth.
features that would make it the ultimate for me would be.
take vst plugins &/or be a vst for use in another program like into ableton.
but since they are not wanting to do vst have send & receives to send to other programs & return back.
multiple beat grid bpms per track. that would help w/ older tracks that have tempo changes.
a sampler. no description needed.
multiple types of cue points that can have comments. to map out deconstruction of tracks.
skinable. then it could look like the controller/mixer you were using.
have a selection that could change the key so you could play like a sampling keyboard changes the key of a sample.
micro actions recordings per track. so when i cue up a track i can turn on to how i usually remix that one track.
but they would have to build ground up for my wishes. :fun:
