Hey there DJTT.

I bought my decks in 1993 and have been spinning ever since. I was part of the first wave of Drum and Bass DJs in the SF Bay area in the 90's. I mostly play Drum and Bass with some other Bass music and occasionally some real Techno. I took a break from spinning between 2003 - 2010 but really missed it and started to slowly get back into it. I was using Serato but recently switched to Traktor. I'm hoping to learn a lot more about it from hanging out here.

Started in 2010, and I DJ full time. I've hit a little bit of a plateau and I'm really looking to take my Djing to the next level (whatever that might be).

We started in 2000 doing house parties and in response to going to local places and thinking 'this is crap, is this guy getting paid?!'. We thought either, stop criticising or try and do better.

So we started doing it for fun, with no emphasis on making any cash or whatever, but now we figure since we enjoy it and have a chunk of kit that we may swell do it a bit more. We've bought some kit (lights, PA, and a lot of the infrastructure stuff that you just never thought you needed!)...now we get a bit of pocket money here and there.

so I guess we are a bit more of a mobile disco (sounds cheesy!), with a hope and desire that we offer soothing a bit more, er dunno, curated?

We started out with a Numark OmniControl (didn't want to spend too much when we started! we might not have carried on!) with Traktor. But we've just bought the DDJ-SX2 so are making the switch to SDJ!

I guess we dpont post much, and have been doing a bit of stalking, mainly to learn. Great website!
