I've just had a load of 90 degree knobs arriver for my Xone:K2, and thought I'd try them on my MC6000, as the knobs from the K2 fitted on the MC6000.

I can report that the 90 degree knobs fit on SOME of the stems on the MC6000.

They fit fine on the EQ knobs, but not on the Gain knobs. Left, right and centered on EQ knobs below.

With Chroma caps on the EQ's, it will cut down a lot on the spacing between them, and as it's pretty cramped already might make it difficult for some people to use them.

In the first 3 pics, both the gain and the HI EQ stems that don't have chroma caps on (CH2) are set at -infinity, and they aren't the same. A lot of the other knobs are odd as well. They fit on the Cue/Master pan, but not on the cue gain. Fit on the booth send, but not on the booth eq. (When I say don't fit, I mean the indicator line is in the wrong position). If I've got a bit of downtime at my next gig, I'll document which ones the 90 degree knobs fit in and which they dont. I'm guessing that normal chroma caps might fit on the Gain knob. Anyone know which way the 90 degree knobs are rotated from the normal ones??

Encoder caps also fit on the central encoder, but you would lose the glowing blue ring round it.

Bought the normal Chroma Caps and the fatties for my DDJ-SX

Normal sized fit perfectly, the fatties look like mushrooms and leave a considerable gap because they are too short. They look terrible to be honest, and DJTT should not advertise them as being a perfect fit....

Also, the tactile sensation you get does not beat the stock caps...

All in all I probably would have still bought everything, but I would have purchase the normal size for all of them. I hope DJTT reconsiders their advertising of these things for this particular controller.

    Default Chroma Caps dimensions

    Hi,
I plan to use the caps on my custom controller.
I couldn't find anywhere... what are the exact dimensions of the Chroma Caps?
I need the height and shaft slot depth.
Which pot does it typically fit (9mm? 16mm?)?

    Thanks.

    Hey guys,

My friend just bought new Numark Mixtrack Pro 2 so we replaced stock plastic ones with some Chroma Caps! As u can see they look nice and can say fit perfectly.

Got some caps for my f1 and hercules rmx 2. they fit great on the f1 and for the hercules rmx 2 they fit real nice except on the pitch faders where the caps kinda hit the mode button and can kind of mess up the setting of the pads. everywhere else i tried they fit perfectly. gonna get some pics up soon

    mc6000 knob types.jpg

Image above shows chroma cap fits for the MC6000. Knobs with a BLUE Circle on them are normal Chroma Caps. Knobs with a RED Circle on them are 90 Degree Knobs.

Fader caps fit fine on line faders/crossfader/Pitch fader. Encoder caps fit on the central browse encoder (And the glow in the dark encoder glows blue with the light from underneath!!)

I haven't tested the mic eq/echo/crossfader curve knobs.

All caps fit flush to the top plate. Fader caps have a slight up/down wobble on them, but nothing major.

    Pic without the colour labels:

Wondering if the fader caps would fit a Rane TTM-56? I'm pretty sure those faders are close to the 57, but I'm not sure. Somehow I lost my crossfader cap, and have to order some replacements, was thinking of going with the Chroma caps.

    Anyone have any insight?

That looks awesome!! shame the circles around the encoders and knobs don't quite line up properly though.... that would annoy me!
