Hi all.
Putting myself out there as The Democracy Begins Here - The DBH
I'm Marcus Willheim from Brisbane Australia.
I enjoy playing alot of UK influenced sounds. Be it techno or house.
ATM really liking Altern8, FSOL and the side projects (Indotribe etc), 808 state - A guy called Gerald stuff.
Also enjoying the heavy basslines of modern house influenced by the UK as well, "Deep" house.
Quite enjoy remixing Chicago House tracks from the 80's. Cool vocal loops.
Like Oliver Huntemann, Pig & Dan, Hugo Rizo, Pan Pot, Carsten Schorr, Moonbeam. If I play for my friends.
If I play wanting to impress the cool kids I'll break out some Far too loud, Fast Foot, Lazy Rich etc.
But I've grown right out of that.
1. Adrenal/Josh
2. Originally SF Bay Area, Currently Denver, CO
3. My background started with Tech Trance/Trance. Still love to play that. Find myself more often in Techno now than anything but I range from Tech house, house, techno, progressive(what used to be called progressive) on up to trance and tech trance. Hell, I even love hard trance check out the old Bitte Ein Beat series (6 and 7 were the best) but don't really have an outlet to spin that style really.
Running: MB Pro quad 2.8, 4gigs ram, Traktor Pro with latest update, S4, F1(may return in favor of coming m3dpro!
