"welp.. found out more from the host this evening. We have also found out why they have been stalling. They have crossed paper work and it looks as if both our primary and secondary servers were decommissioned. At this point it is looking that our only option is to start fresh elsewhere. I am pretty much at a loss right now and feel as if one of my friends has died with this. Not sure what else more I can say at the moment, other than we will be back in some form as soon as we can...."

If that's true, I'm amazed that nobody kept any kind of backup, especially given how unreliable the host was. Even if it was from 6 months ago or whatever, it's better than having to start fresh. Oh well. Maybe it will work out for the best as it means they can use the latest version of the forum software and give it a fresh new look.

umm 1) never ever heard of a host just dumping all client data and back ups just like it was the days trash 2) constant downtimes didnt clue admins into the fact that the host sucked donkey genitalia, was inconsistent and unprofessional?
