Here is what I'm working with.

DJM 800 Rotary
CDJ 1000 MK3's
Traktor Kontrol X1
TSP 2
NI Audio 10
M-Audio FW 410
KRK RP8's w/ 10s Sub

Clipping is a problem in every DAW

to get more control, set up two audio channels and activate them in monitor input mode, route your left deck channels to one, right deck channels to 2,
insert a utility plugin on both and drag the volume down to about 70% of the original value, no wmap channel one to side A of the Xfader and channel 2 to side B,

If you have all your channels at zero, they will sum up at the master out and clip, this happens in tracktor , live, cubase, logic, pro-tools, serato etc.
Gain structuring is user controller, not preprogrammed by the code monkeys.

Was about to suggest the same.

I don't use Live much anymore..but this too irritated me till I sorted it.

In Traktor, 4 deck playing will almost always have you clipping unless you really good with your EQing.
To resolve that (not the BEST method I will admit) is to lower your master out till it no longer is clipping. Then turn up your amp.

The best method would be a combo of watching your master out...but EQing the decks correctly and using the gain correctly.

@sarasin: What are you using the turntable for with the APC? Ableton + ms pinky? Ableton + Scratch records?

I don't jam Ableton.....YET!

I use TSP2....2 Internal Decks...1 Timecode deck...and 1 Sample deck.

Planning on routing Audio to Ableton....to use VST's.
