    I'm hoping the repress of Palms Trax ep on Lobster Theremin turns up next week, was in stock late last week at Kristina so should be.
    That would be nice...I could have my redeye reserves shipped then and I believe be all caught up!

    So it turns out I'm slightly less of a fiscal liability to myself this month than I thought. Bought this stuff:

    Mike Dunn - Tribute EP
    Omar S - Romancing The Stone - FXHE
    Big Strick - Resivior Dogs Vol 1
    Beesmunt Soundsystem - The Baby Maker EP - Just Jack

    Meant to get the Seven Davies JR one as well but forgot until after. It can wait. I'm well into a Big Strick/Mike Dunn thing just now.

    The Mike Dunn, Omar S and Big Strick records are very nice - great haul! I'm about to pull the trigger on my juno cart including the Romancing the Stone.

    Nice little selection there Thumper, very nice indeed.

    Just put in a small order with Juno for a couple of older bits;

    Willie Burns - House on Creme Organization
    Alex Israel - Walking To Guntersville on WT US

    Just building up the cart at Redeye at the moment, probably pull the trigger at the weekend. Had some bits delivered today, missed them, so gotta wait until tomorrow to go and pick up.

    Oh and here's a little bit of a shameless plug, our labels next release is up for pre order over on Redeye;

    One more to add to the purchased list this month;

    Seven Davis Jr. - One EP on Must Have US (The white vinyl repress)

    On a non-vinyl note, purchased some Urbanears Zinken's too, and have to say rather impressed for the measly price of 55 quid. Let's see how they hold up.

    Your records nice, man. Question, having a look at your back catalogue there - the first on your label is Rick Wade? THE Rick wade? How the did you work that one? Impressive for a first release..

    Gotta vent about something else, I'm sure you will all permit me: So my Giegling order and my VU order apparently arrived on the same day, but instead of leaving them as the postman always does, he decided to leave me a card and take them back to the depot. A bit of a pain as I'm working all weekend and can't get down to the depot very easily. I went onto the Royal Mail website and rearranged the delivery to the local post office.

    Went in today, and to cut a long story short, the VU order has vanished somewhere between the two places. It then went weird as the woman who was dealing with us decided that there was no way in hell she was letting us have the card back as - as far as she was concerned - I had picked up the package. I kept pointing out that the card specified that I was supposed to pick up TWO packages, not one, but she just kept telling me she was keeping the card and it was no longer anything to do with her. I pointed out the card actually had the tracking ID on it and I would need it when I went down to the depot. This went on for about 5 minutes until she eventually threw the card at us and told us to 'take it - you're going to anyway' before she just sat there staring at us.

    The same woman was a massive asshole a couple of weeks ago when I went into get a passport application sorted and she refused to do it, telling me it was going to take her ages to do and she had other things to do before closing. That was fine, but I'd actually got out of work 20 minutes early specifically for this and meant it was about 50 minutes before closing. it's only supposed to take 15 -20 minutes to do. No apology. Simply meant that my girlfriend had to delay going to see her mum in Edinburgh the next Saturday so she could go in and get it done as I was working. Todays fiasco means she has to go down to the depot on Saturday morning and try and get it sorted because, again, I am working. Fantastic.

    Assholes. I think climate change is encouraging their birthrate.

    Yeah we were over the moon to get Wade for the first release, went rather down hill for our second which I think we now all regret. But I have been busy busy getting good artists on board, some tasty stuff coming for future releases. Really happy with the Giovanni one, has some tasty feedback from Larry Heard for it too!

    Man sounds like you have some rights idiots at the post office, it's always amazed me how they manage to lose things. Thankfully the ones where I have to go are alright, and I'm in there collecting something most weeks so they know what I've come to pick up. But I do feel for you, hope you manage to find the missing order!

    It's always been great in the past - just this asshat who i don't remember seeing there until about three months ago. If I get any more cheek from her I'll simply start a formal complaint. The rest of them are OK. The depot is full of idiots, though. Feel sorry for my gf having to go and put up with them.

    I usually just get them delivered to work, but sometimes it's just not possible. I'll guess I'll just start doing that all the time now.

    Of course, there are a couple of records there I had been wanting to review.....Ah well, we'll see what tomorrow brings.

    Have opened a war via twitter in the mean time...D)

    Both of those facts are bad ass! Rick Wade for release number one and Larry Heard with support for the latest release? Congratulations! It is a nice release by the way.

    Finally pulled the trigger at Juno and picked up one of the Mood II Swing re-presses on redeye to go along with my now completed reserve pre-orders:

    VA - Faces 1216 (Faces France)
    Baba Stiltz - Transit (Studio Barnhus Sweden)
    VA - Delayed EP 1 (Delayed Audio)
    Dadame/Deep88 - Pression - Bengala
    Ondo Fudd - Coup D'Etat (The Trilogy Tapes)
    Jesus Gonsev - Love Stimulation EP (Music With Content)
    Omar S - Romancing the Stone (FXHE)
    Terrence Parker/Simon Hinter - It Hurts (Midnight Shift France)
    Urban Culture (Carl Craig) - The wonders of Wishing (remastered) (Eclipse)
    Mood II Swing Ft. John Ciafone - I See You Dancing (Groove On)

    And yeah, postal employees suck Thumper! Sorry to hear about your struggles.

    Well this one does.

    And then I got home from work yesterday and discovered that the box from Redeye I've been waiting a month for because of the DJ Punisher record had been delivered......

    .....and taken away again!

    Their policy on leaving parcels seems to be down to what sort of mood the postman is in that day.They used to do it all the time, now there is now way to tell. I suppose I should be grateful. We had one a few years ago who used to steal the mail. It means that my gf now has two boxes to pick up from down at the depot.

    And on top of that I forgot to order the new NGLY 12" on LIES. Seems to be sold out everywhere. Still, I think I'll pick up that Seven Davis Junior repress instead that you guys were talking about. It's stupid good. Got a couple of days off after the weekend for a wedding so I'll try rubadub on Monday morning for the NGLY one.
