Hey Jester,
Thanks heaps, I always enjoys your sets!! I was really glad to see guys like you here, I need some encouragement because as I have said before I am still quite new DJ and going to play mine first gig in a bit over a month.. I posted about it on another thread but the guys there said I should just do what everyone else at the club usually does, and stick to house and top 40s tunes.. But I already told the owner I will be playing "Trance" music, and I think it is a small event there so hopefully people should be more accepting of a style they have never hear before.. That and also I not interested in being just another main stream DJ.. It is mine love of Psy that got me in to DJing in the first place.. I will stay true to the music that has made me the person I am today, Psy trance and Psy parties have had an amazing impact and positive effect on mine life and personality, so I want to share this and give as many other people as I can the same oppertunity.. I know some people think I am stupid as a DJ saying I dont want to mix top40s stuff but I dont give a fuck about being popular to drunk people at clubs.. I will do something different and share the magic that is psy...
Well ill try to anyway, I just hope people are as accepting of it as I was.. By the way guys any past experiences with playing psy to people who have never heard it before? any gigs that you were the only Psy DJs at?
Im kinda nervous about this gig seeing as it could go really well and people will love the phatness OR it could be a disaster and only me and mine buddies would be dancing and loving it..
That and It will be my first live set.. So yeah mine final quetsion to you guys is.. Even though I might have mine set set up perfect and have practiced heaps in mne room, what are some vital things I must remember when going to play live?
