I really don't think 30 weeks is accurate.

18 weeks isn't much better than 30 weeks

shame... I was hoping to get hold of a CMD during the summer.

I think that the key word there is "complete", this may indicate that some units will come out before others.

They'll be here when they get here. It's much better to know that things are being done thoroughly. I personally would rather wait 30 weeks and have a product that's solid and reliable than have a rushed pile of buttons and flashy bits that works when it feels like it, when the wind blows favourably from the south east, between the hours of 6.21am and 12.32pm, on a Wednesday, if I wear the user manual on my head and chant the correct passages from the v2 MIDI Implementation Chart.

Because that would, quite frankly, put me off them a bit.

Exactly, Uli and the gang are quite aware of their "reputation", this line could very easily set the tone for the future of Behringer.

Still waiting to see new design. I have read about Behringer added blue LEDs instead of red because there was a little difference between amber and red in daylight and there will be some color change on top layer too. I just hope they will upgrade it with filter/gain knob, would be great. Looking forward to get one when it comes out, I see a lot of mapping potential for this unit!

JUst don't change this section here! I already plan my mapping

Still waiting to see new design...
The changes we're making to to CMD are all about look and feel. So the hard buttons are replaced with rubber. The industrial design has been changed slightly. The firmware for a couple of the units are changing to add functionality (like 14bit pitch faders for the Studio 4a).

And that bit about changing to blue LEDs is also correct. The LED indicator colors have changed (especially on the LC-1).

No new knobs are going to be added to any of the units. The MM-1 already has 4 knobs in each channel strip, so it will support a 3 band EQ and filter or gain knob if you'd like. But the Studio 4a layout says as-is.
