I agree, yeah we could spend a lot of time and money trying to come up with some really excellent developed mark but to be honest- the fact that everyone has come together and created the final entries you see here is pretty damn impressive. Dj TT is barely 8 months old and in that time we(everyone here) have:

gone from 0 to about 2500 viewers per day

built a rad forum that is fun to use

created a bunch of cool ideas from nothing that cost nothing( because remember, we don't make any money on DJ TT) I refuse to put advertising up on the site so we have to get creative and come up with other ways to get things done.


All in all- I am very happy with the results. Sure, some corporate design firm might be able to do better but we did this our way- DIY. Thats the spirit of dj tech tools and I love that its there in our logo too.

Personally i am happy with the community putting together the logos, getting to vote on the results is nice and i feel gives everyone more of an attachment to the winning logo than anything a corporate firm could ever muster!

I agree this website feels like a the local record shop people come together and talk about their music and hardware. Were creating a community that decided to sustain itself.
