Sasha did a mix for a compilation (back in the days when mixes came on tapes!) and mixed 4 tracks in about 45 minutes.

Depends on the genre. With hip hop and beats you'll end up with more tunes than house. My last 80 min disco/deep house had about 20 tracks in it.

My flatmates a DJ called Damian. I mentioned to him that Damien is essentially the French variation of Damian, and did he want to think about changing his name to avoid litigation. He said two things:

1) he would love to because he's fed up of people singing The Omen theme at him
2) it's a common first name, good luck with that, and bring it on mofo

some of that is true, I just made up the rest

Was thinking about using DJ Robin Bastard as I was born a scouser and am therefore allowed to laugh at myself, but I think it's been done.

Lethal_Pizzle is wearing a bit thin. Not that I use that much anyway.

On the flip side, if you're only play 8 to 10 tracks an hour, but they are all the right tracks at the right time and the crowd is loving it, does that make him worse than the DJ playing more tracks in the same amount of time but the crowd isn't liking it?
