that sounds like a good idea cos that would stop us gettin robbed by customs, and royal mail/parcel force. As i paid i think $20 postage to djtt and now parcel force it seems have charged me postage costs for opening and repacking my parcel cos i worked out that even 20% tax on my order at full cost would have been £4 ish, so where the othe £14.50 came from i do not know?? And like mentioned DJTT say they will lower the value of the parcel to help with costs too..

I've posted this before but if you get the seller to write warranty replacement on the customs slip you pay no tax at all.

Ask the seller, some will, some won't - I got a set of CDJ800's dirt cheap this way.

DJTT wont do that, although they said they would mark the value price down so the tax cost would be less but ive just got my order this morning and they HAVEN'T done that on my order, the prices they have declared on the package is the full retail price, on the customs note on the package, it says VAT £10.50 and then under the OTHER is says PARCELFORCE HANDLING FEE £8.00, cheeky fuckers is all i can say!! Ah well ive got it now so thats my job for tonight

If it's labelled as a gift make sure they put a low value on it though as they will still tax you on gifts above a certain value. I paid more than the comparable sales tax on a gift as it was shown to be over £70.00

show up with a torn shirt, dirty socks... limp a little bit.. make them feel sorry for you,, and mabey they will let it slide... when you see the box.. act a bit like some scene out of a christmas miracle where little timmy gets new crutches.
German customs was also holding everything that got shipped from the states... I always made it seem like I was semi homeless looking and never paid taxes on anything. Well in the begining I had to on several items.

for people in the EU, your better off ordering from djsface for knobs and faders.. plus they have 54 colors to choose from instead of 3
