Will try to download their entire discography...
yeah she's the bomb! she actually was married to Miles Davis; her stuff has all been recently re-released (on 180 gram vinyl no less!) so it's pretty easy to find these days. And it's all pretty crazy; well worth the listen! I first discovered her in 1995 when I spent a couple weeks in London; picked up a mixtape (yes, real live cassette tape) in Camden square that was just full of crazy early 70s funk. The tape was called "Funk Gun" and it had a photocopy of a picture of a gun as the tape cover; there was no song info or anything written on it, and this was before it was easy to look up any damn thing you wanted on the internet. Took me a few months before I figured out who it was and another year or two before I could find any of her stuff in a store.
May be Nutbush city limits is a little bit influenced by British Glam Rock??
For sure! Bowie had been doing some crazy stuff for several years by the time that song came out so it pretty much has to have played a role.

 Ive found this in songfacts website:
Marc Bolan of the '70s British Glam Rock band T-Rex played guitar on this. Bolan was a fan of Ike's guitar playing and in his teenage years he had had a crush on Tina Turner.
