Great stuff guys!!
few more very nice apps from me:
12) SmartSleep - instant sleep, without waiting for hibernation on lid close. few seconds and it's done
13) Soundflower - the most amazing Virtual Audio Cable i've seen. Allows you to reliably send audio from any application to another one. e.g. recording samples from YouTube to Traktor; sendin Traktor to Ableton; you name it ....
Dustin, I also suggest you to look at the concept of the Aggregated Audio Devices in OS X. Here's a video:

I was using FF on OS X, Linux & Windows for years, until like an year ago. FF was only given me grief LOL. huge memory footprint, frequent CPU pekas and daily crashes. Chrome is working better for me ...
Great that we have a choice for what to use !LOL
BTW, Java is really essential. Dustin, you can check what java you have by issuing the following command in a "Terminal" app:
it should beCode:java -version
if not:Java version "1.6.0_22"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_22-b04-307-10M3261)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 17.1-b03-307, mixed mode)
