MacBook Pro: glossy or matte?

Matte, Glossy only exists because is a best seller when the laptop is showcased turned off in the sheves of a store, but you cant work with an open window in summer...

Don't have any problems with that. Once again, with my glossy I can enjoy outside more than with matte.

I that true? I have a hard enough time with sunlight on a matte...you would think the glossy would be worse?

Please believe me i hava a 23" HP tft glossy and is impossible to work with the window open, it looks like a mirror where i can see myself

if you can afford the extra money for the matte, go for it, they also give you higher resolution, and looks just plain AWESOME

me? i use glossy coz they dont offer such option in 13 inch models

I don't have much of a problem with my glossy. The only thing is when you're watching a movie with lots of scenes in the dark, then it becomes somewhat mirroresque if I'm in a bright place.

I'm using the Black Unibody from a couple years ago, before they discontinued that line of Macbooks. The best laptop I ever used, except I'll probably end up selling it for one of the New Macbook Pros.(My one dislike is the keyboard isn't illuminated, makes it impossible to see in the clubs, so I have to bring one of those gooseneck lights that plugs into the USB port, haha)

I HATE GLOSSY.. but my main monitor is glossy, and i love it.. so..

i do some shows outside with my mac. the glare is so bad i can hardly see. definitely matte.
