    I agree with him.

Why don't you buy an used mixer for home usage and start by mixing 2 channels externally with an Audio 2 ?
You can even upgrade your mixer and mix externally with 4 channels with the same interface.
And to the traktor commands that you can't use externally you can buy a controller like a korg nanokontrol (wich can be used latter for sample decks)

I've gone to this route, started with an cheap audio interface (numark DJIO) and two korg nanokontrols + Maudio Oxygen 25keys. But I wish I had bought a mixer and only one korg nano instead of two nanos and a maudio...

Now my setup is this bellow, but I don't use the keyboard for mixing purpouses...

Ok after watching a few vids on the twitch and hearing all these opinions I'm sold I'm going to get the twitch.

I know I need a mixer for the MF I was just going to buy it and wait until the twitch release by which time I will have almost have enuff for a S4 and if the twitch is not released by then I will get the S4.

But damn that twitch looks sweet being used I want it now

    Thanks guys

Twitch will be available within the next couple of weeks. Before you start a speaker thread, use the search button. There are many, many threads on different speaker suggestions.

In one sentence, if you want good quality (and good value) monitors, get KRK rokits (5s or 6s) or M-Audio BX-5a which are a little cheaper.

You could just instead of buying a midifighter and mixer, buy a used vci 100 standard and learn to mix on it and then if your ready upgrade to the twitch or s4.

This gives you lots of options, the build quality isn't dodgey and the resale value of the vci is still holding.

Makes no sense to buy a VCI. The price second hand is similar to the Twitch and it comes with no software or audio interface so the full setup would be significantly more expensive.

Buy a twitch and be done with it.

I love my VCI, but right now for a beginner it just doesn't make sense financially or otherwise.

if i were u... i'll take an audio 2 dj that give in bundle Traktor LE 2... so with 69€ you can upgrade to Traktor pro 2... secondly a Kontrol X1... with the other money you should search a Two channel mixer used or a new entry level mixer like Behringer Vmx 200 that, for his price, has a very good sound resolution...

on the contrary if u want an all-in-one solution.... Reloop Digital J 2 master edition or Hercules 4 set (4 decks loops, hotcue) + korg Nanokontrol(effects, samples, loop recorder).. korg has 4 scenes so you can customize each scene like scene 1 effect, scene 2 sample and loop recorder ecc ecc... between this two i may chose the second because you could have more assignable knobs faders ecc... and two controller are more scenic than one... also in this case Traktor pro 2...
