    The point is, that the base note of the KICK should also be within the key.

    HAPPY NOW?????

    So if you have keycoded your track...and the producer was good enough to be sure his kicks note is in the key of his track....then you will benefit...even if you are transitioning in just the percussive bits.

    You need to give yourself a break bruv....you don't NEEED to be a dick everyday do ya?

    I wonder what (if anything) people who make jungle, breakcore etc do as they are just pitching up breakbeats.

    No idea....but I know the Psytrance producers do it...or are aware of it.

    It would make it all sound a lot cleaner....and makes sense...no?

    Well...thats a producer that uses samples for his percussion.

    Lots actually write it themselves.

    Jungle and breakcore artists take a drum break, pitch it up and then resequence it generally.
