The stock Technics slipmats or Thudrumble Tripmats feel just right.

I didn't like the technics ones, the guy who owned my tables before me had them, and they were ok, until I bought a pair of Ortofon mats, and realized how much I didn't like the technics. Maybe they were just old.
I've got a circle of waxed paper between my platter and slipmat on each deck, and they make things so much more buttery in a good way.

Edit: its all a matter of taste though, they all do pretty much the same thing. Sicmats, Ortofon, and the other names that float around regarding mats are all good, I just went with a mat that looked cool. (Got the ones with the blue genie on em)
