Yeah I bet! What do you think about the 12" KRK Sub?
Yeah I bet! What do you think about the 12" KRK Sub?
Speakers somehow last me a long time - for example my Alesis Studio Monitor Two's still sound better than the Rokit's. Hard to imagine but it's true.
With that said I'll spend the extra money for the 12 if it really sounds good. In my experience 10"'s where much tighter the last time I bought speakers
So if it's worth the cash I am game.
Anyone out there heard the 12s?
I have rokit 8s and def love them. I need to add my 10s cause its not enough bass for sure.
I actually use some computer speakers as monitors with the sub to get some bass going. Its actually not bad. Its definitely better then no sub at all.
You know what - I am completely wrong. These Rokit 8's sound much better mid and high's than my older Alesis Studio Monitor Twos.
After running each through my old test course which is basically old hip hop and newage I can say that these Rokit 8's are unreal!
I own a pair of the KRK 10-3s. I would have to say that they are NOT worth the extra money compared to the 8s. My friend owns a pair that i have listened to many times. We both think the 8s have just as much low end AND punch a bit more. The 10-3s are HUGE and heavy so forget using them for near fields unless you have a large sturdy table.
Its all about NS-10s!!! Haha jk..I have some Rokit 8s and they sound great compared to the Rokit 10s.
would go 2 smaller speakers + sub anyday over a floorstander/fullrange.
A few months ago i invested in a quality sub to my hifi/dj speakers and moreover a deeper bass with more control&punch my other speakers or "monitors" produce a less restrained midrange and even better highs.
Definately go for sub, but don't get a fat one with "slow" element, then you will just get booms and no punch!
from what I learned the crossovers for two way speakers can be alot better than if u have a 3 or 4 way speaker in about the same money. Imo you get more for the money if you want good sq with smaller speakers (not talking about computor sattelites).
I have the RP-8s with the SW10 sub and I love it!
I have rokit 8s and don't have a sub. I wish I did for big parties. But Now I have some Mackie SRM 350 PA speakers and those are more then enough for a big party.
