I like them. I dont know if they make a difference performance wise, but they do look good, but I'm the type of person that appreciates someone who spent money on a good looking set of rims on a car and also doesnt mind spending money on nice clothes. To me it's no different then those who spend money on colored knobs on their mixers or controllers (which I'm not a fan of BTW), if there really is any performance gain I'd be curious to know. If they were priced close to any other replacement cable, im sure every schmuck would have them, and I'm also sure they would all claim that they make a HUGE difference....but oh well

I did the same thing when I bought Mogami guitar cables. Yeah they're expensive and even maybe overpriced. From a tech perspective, they're no better than any other guitar cable in terms of connectivity. But going from 3 cables a year to one cable in the past 7 years? I'd definitely drop $50 again for that kind of peace of mind. Sometimes the investment isn't always in the realm of the tangible.

    Two facts about cables:
    1. If you are buying more than a good handmade cable with Neutrik, Switchcraft, etc ends, you are spending too much money.
    2. If you are breaking three cables a year, you aren't treating them properly.

I know cables, I set and struck about 3 kilometres of cable yesterday, oh do I know cables.

when I was 18 I bought 3 rca cables for $60 total, one is 3 meters $30 the other two are 1 meter $15, that was 10 years ago... what are you guys doing to your cables? I give them no respect, just wrap them up and chuck 'em in my bag. They are all still going strong...

Damnit.. I'm drowning in my collection of perfectly fine USB cables yet I couldn't resist picking up 3 of these beauties. Marketing tip of the day: 1. add LEDs to whatever product you're selling, 2: profit.

Funny thing is I first saw lighted USB cables here,

and could care less about crap load of gear, I wanted those cables, haha. So did a google search and found those.

I can see getting good quality RCA cables but USB not so much. I just got those cause they look cool.

I agree, I like to buy Mogami with Nuetrik connectors, I get them professionally built, I've tried soldering my own snakes and they weren't that hard, so thats an option.

But USB cable I just try and find shielded good quality and recently read the benefits of ferrite cores.

The Dj tech tools are about the extremity I'd go, they look pretty cool
