Does anyone know if I can export a playlist from rekordbox to a device, then use rekord buddy to move the tracks into Traktor as a playlist, then export that playlist to an NML so when I stick my gig stick into a laptop I can have just the NMLs in the root folder, all the songs analyzed by rekordbox in the "Contents" folder (because Pioneer is retarded and didn't just make this easier from the get-go) and still have my Serato crates as well? (since I can actually drag files from a Traktor playlist into Serato without needing to spend $10 dollars on yet another program so I can use Pioneer stuff). I just bought Rekord Biddy without doing any research on it other than people ranting and raving about it and I want to be able to just use my gig stick for all devices. Sometimes I am stuck using Serato at places because I am only there for an hour and I don't want to unplug a bunch of stuff and make it harder for the next guy, so I just use whatever box they have set up there. In contrast to that, if I end up using CDJs it's like I need to go through that stupid "Contents" folder Pioneer makes on the drive when you export and do it all by hand. Some crates I use for more than one place and having to drave every track over from three different programs is just stupid.

Let me see if I can answer your questions one at a time:
- Can you use Rekord Buddy to export from Rekordbox to Traktor: YES
- Can you use Rekord Buddy to export from a USB device: NO
- Can you use Rekord Buddy to create an NML file pointing to track on a USB device: YES...but
Let me explain that last one. The tracks on the USB are managed by Rekordbox, so even if you did create an NML file pointing to the tracks on the USB you're not guaranteed that Rekordbox might not move the tracks around on you (Problem #1).
Then, you'd have to import this NML into any Traktor collection you want to use it with. Everytime something changes. Traktor is notoriously bad at importing external collections (Problem #2). Some things get synced, some don't and sometimes Traktor messes up and deletes your entire collection (I have a bug filed with NI about this, it's still not fixed). This is why I started writing to the Traktor collection myself to make the syncing easier.
So it's not impossible to do but it would probably be a major pain in the ass at the moment. I hope to make this easier in the future.
Hope this helps.
