They would fly at 350 USD here in the UK too, as that's the going rate for standard non-modded Mk2s.

350$ is £214... you can find a pair of 1210's for £214..? or do I misunderstand cus that's silly cheap inmho.

My mate bought a pair of beat up (just cosmetic) 1210's for £200 but that's cus the seller needed cash that day and they needed a bit of work, new tone-arm, re-cal etc. And as someone says above it's usually some prick looking for drug money that flogs them silly-cheap.

On a general point though, there are a lot of people on this forum that talk silly money for technics.
Seems like lots of people have got at least one "i got these for £100" stories but in reality, not so much. There is definitely a culture of people wanting to brag that they get stuff cheap and I don't believe half of what I read.
I know, people find bargains and I know they are cheaper in the US but a decent pair is a good £350 - £500 in UK. Anything cheaper will be abused or look crappy and I personally wouldn't be interested in crappy looking decks.

Patchs decks are lovely. Unfortunately the work gone into them means jack to the buyer so they will have to come down in price.
Lose the gold stickers dude. I love your decks, I fell in love with a white pair my old mate Telly from NI made years back.
If I had a spare £XXX I'd be pumping you hard with offers but I have decks and my Mrs would kill me.

I showed my wife your decks and the first words out of her mouth were "No... no fucking way"... she knew I was 'desiring' them.
