I made me a very basic step sequencer mapping for my CNTRL:R and MF 3D which is based on the Freeze Mode output which is always in time since it's synced internaly to the master clock. Not as powerful as your Lemur design because I don't need more than one voice in my mixing but it's super tight if all the tracks are properly gridded. (also would need more free time to expand the possibilities if I needed more voices and patterns)

This concept consumes deck C+D and turns it in to the Traktor sequencer but also solves the offset in the midi sync standards.
I heard only good things about the MF sequencer, i think its actually a little better that maschine, but i am using a older computer.

Really interesting concept, with the frezzer sequencer(i hope thats a hint that traktor pro 3 will have a sequencer cause there is already one in it ) have thought about it, but i didnt want to loose a deck(let alone 2 ). I must say that i tryed alot of different ways to program the sequencer and only one worked really well. I dont have any real offset true time , maybe you could try my Step sequencer and compare it to the others, and i would love to se a vid of the frezzer concept.

Your thinking is exactly why i love lemur you can find different ways around certain problems, and the problem here is not lemur its traktor not giving us enough information.

I've Ableton and Traktor in sync perfectly (internally with Traktor Virtual Output) during my set on a MacBook Pro 13 i7 (ssd and ram powered)..

I play long sets ( 3/4 hours ) and I don't have problems with this two programs... On the other side, with the 2.0 version Maschine has lots of new functions but now is heavier than before and doesn't stay in sync perfectly as Ableton does.

So what I want say?? The point is how we do the sync between programs and how much power we have in our Mac.

For example, my lemur stays in sync perfectly also via wi-fi with a little bit of offset in the midi clock tab. Tested today.
