I like the thought of two of these and two XDJ1000, 4 screens across all the decks would be wicked

I am struggling to see the need for screens when we all have a perfectly decent screen on our laptops. They say it is so you can hide your laptop away but where when you have alot if real estate used already. I have just bought an X1 Mk 2 and having 2 deck control in a smaller footprint is*better for my needs.
I think I will reserve judgement until full specs are released

That's a nightmare to plug into a booth dough.... 2x power supply

You only need one PSU to use 2 x D2s.
The D2 comes with a power splitter cable so that both can be powered from one unit.

Looks like I could get away with using one initially, according to the picture that shows the option for switching between different decks on the fly (finally!). My X1 Mk2 will tide me over a little longer for controlling other decks (perhaps C and D), but will get a second D2 after a little while. The other thing I'm happy about is that sorting out a roadcase to suit both a pair of D2s and my Z2 will be much easier in terms of layout due to the uniform length and built in height adjustment of the D2.

Time to flog off my CDJ400s.

If these were like 350$, I'd bite. $500 is too far off the mark imo. Hell, an S8 can be had for what? $1200? So the S8 mixer is only worth ~200$?

Hopefully I'll be able to try one out at CNTRL and see for myself.

Pretty cool but I don't see any of us trading up from our x1's for that price.
