Any chance you could explain how you use all this gear? Seems a tad unnecessary.

Ableton as host
Maschine for constructing/deconstructing beats
Apc40 for controlling 8 outputs from maschine.. Running NATIVEKONTROL on apc40 so I can chop midi or audio independantly for stuff running in ableton/non machine sounds...
Kore controler for tweaking fx or instruments running
little keyboard for stutter edit or stuff like that
launchpads to keep myself from looking like im checking email... assign LP for volume/pan/sends and also for controling Numerology so you can make modulate midi parameters . The axis 49 is for chords with whatever instrument.. im too lazy to learn how to play chords on a piano

If you really want to know why I would do this to my gear... Well the honest answer is... I feel more connected to my instruments ... I dont like how every controller looks the same... feels cold and generic... I feel more committed to learning this setup and nothing else.. I think its more than enough for along time.
Its kind of like.. why customize a midi fighter... why not just have pure black and nothing else... Im not the type to sell my gear everytime a new this or that comes out. Id rather throw it in the trash or give it away than bother selling it. I did the same with my cdj2000.. so instead of putting my hands on a cdj2000 ..Im putting it on an Ayahuasca snippet

Ill make a youtube video of it in action sometime soon... atm im to busy helping "them" kill taliban

Maybe I am just of a different mindset but I just think you could save alot of time and space.

in some cases I run MODUL8... so I need the possiblity to have the gear to run this...
This is the reduced setup btw... I have loads of other controllers but dont really need those... Im able to multi task fairly well and this setup is perfect.. all within hands reach... I really dont see how I would save time and space by doing it differently... Every feature is used more or less for live situations. I also have a crazy mask I wear to go along with it
