Ok, so I received the Audio 2 which said it comes with Traktor LE which can be upgraded to Pro. I installed all the drivers, and went to do the product activation. I see absolutely nothing anywhere that says Traktor LE, and only gives me the option of using the demo of Pro, buying or Activating. I assumed the activation was for LE, correct? If so, I have no serial number anywhere for it's activation, I only have the Kore Player Serial number and Guitar Rig numbers.
Am I missing something extremely simple to use Traktor LE?
Ah... right this was an error.
You can have a copy sent out to you by contacting Support.
This affected a random selection of users. It was a shipping error.
I 'think' this is still valid: http://co.native-instruments.com/ind...traktorgpoform

Thank you very much. I just found that page as well. Well that really sucks, but since it's advertized to come with Traktor LE, I sure hope they come through!
I'll fill this out and see what comes of it. Fingers crossed!
They should sort it. LE is definitely bundled with the Audio 2.
I see no reason for them not honouring it.
Hello, I am also new to djing and share a similar situation with the author of this thread (so I don't want to create a new topic). However, I did it sort of backwards and bought Traktor Pro, then I realized I needed a sound card, bought Audio 2, and now ordered the 100 SE with arcade buttons. While my expectations are no where near the levels of Ean, I would like to see improvement in my "djing" skills. I am writing this because I am wondering how other experienced djs learned as I am wondering if I am on a good path (notice I didn't say right path). Been doing this for about 2 months, and I found this web site pretty much the source and inspiration to keep going. Any recommendations on what books to read, how to practice?
My biggest challenge (and probably most other neophytes as well) is how to change or mix up genres of music or songs with a vast difference in bpm (yes, I saw Ean's freeze filter trick) but there must be more, how or where does a newbie start now that beat matching is no longer needed?
Thanks,
Ted
@trope - there are loads of ways, but you kinda have to discover them yourself, as they're not exactly formulas which work for every tune. For example, some dubstep tunes can be pushed down to around 130, and don't drag too much - then sound awesome when you start to mix in an electro smasher..
but some of the best transitions arent beatmatched.. the beauty of using CDJ timecode is that you can use scrub-backs which work well if used correctly (over use it and you sound like wideboys.. 'CAN I GET A REEEEWINNDD!??!' - gotta love garage!) just play in your room and work out which transitions for which tunes!
