Shipping S4 to Europe - how long time?

If you ordered both from DJTT then they will be shipped together at the same time. Just fyi .

unfortunately not, wish i did now ! ordered my S4 and flight case from different
music shops here in the UK.
it needs to hurry up and arrive though, my old gear is on ebay at the minute and ends in a few days so ill be left with no equipment...... and we cant have that!

my shipping date seems to be going backwards!!! i have been assured it will be shipped by 1st December i did order it on 2nd November though. my flight case is due to arrive before the S4, thats just teasing.

i ordered my S4 and case on the 11th november,
sucks ass waiting and not really knowing when it will arrive,
just hope its comes before xmas at the very latest.
dont think i could handle having nothing to do on xmas day other than watch mary poppins and the chitty chitty bang bang

I just remembered why I hate UPS/DHL and the rest of them.

It clearly says on UPS.com:

"Choose a fast, guaranteed service for less-urgent international shipments (...)
Delivery Commitment: Delivery in three or four days to Europe"

When I get my confirmation email it says I will get the S4 on Dec 2nd, that's EIGHT days. Just because I like to pick a fight every now and then I call UPS and ask them about this, and they tell me it's "5-7 days to Europe, sometimes more".

Umm, okay..? But you COMMIT yourself to delivering the packages in 3-4 days?

oh and if i happen to get a faulty S4 i just dont know if i can deal with waiting again to get a replacement

Mine has been sitting in Denmark since It got delivered there around the 6th Nov. A friend is finally bringing it to norway tomorrow! :-D

Just want to end my part of the thread since I started the one.

The S4 arrived to my adress in Stockholm, nov 25th.

The orderdate was oct 19th.

Ship out day from DJTT, Nov 8th

US Postal, Shipment Activity Nov 10th

Arrived in Swedish custom: Nov 15 th

Nov 17th I got a snailmail from the custom. I hade to apply a EORI-number (Economic Operator Registration and Identification). Any economic operator established in the EU needs to have an EORI number.

I applied by the web and tree days later I got the number by mail.

The Swedish post knocked on my door with the parcel nov 25th.

I hade to pay almost 200 dollars in VAT (yes, we are heavily taxed in this country), but since I'm running a business I can settle the VAT.


For my Scandinavian forumfriends:

Det tog tid men till slut kom S4. DJTT drog cirka 6500 SEK sedan var det cirka 1200 i moms. Trots allt bra mycket billigare än på exempelvis 4sound.se som ska ha 9595 kr med eventuell leverans vid jul.

Har inte startat upp S4 ännu, men det beror mer på att jag gör en nystart med ny controler, ny dator och ny struktur på musikbibliotek (nu ska det bli ordning på filerna).

My S4 came today, and those f!?kers at UPS charged me $155 for taxes...

Now I only saved like $100 and had to wait for ages.

Sometimes it sucks being a cheap bastard.
