I hadnt finished my taktor 3 mapping then Traktor came out haha - just to throw a spanner in the works !

Ended up throwing about a third of my bomes code out in the changeover house cleaning !

Lots of work still to go sadly, but things are definantly comming along nicely.

Richie Hawtin is still using Traktor 3, isnt Traktor Pro stabile for him?

I know that I dont want to quit on Traktor 3 yet, but come on Mr Hawtin.

I am trying to convince myself to use Traktor instead of Ableton because I like the fact that Traktor is more DJ Friendly and I don't like spending so much time preparing tracks in Ableton I want to just plug and play as easy as possible. I just ran across this forum researching Traktor:

This is how I learned that Fanciulli and Hawtin still use Traktor 3 and it very stable and does not crash and dubfire uses pro and his craches on him because it is still too glitchy. HELP!

Most of the recent videos of Hawtin show he's using pro. I have had a few crashes in TP but as a result of faulty drivers from a particular audio hardware company...not NI code.

I guess traktor pro it is what about a midi controller to use with mac? Seems like that faderfox is the popular one but that new NI Kontrol X1 is coming out and the one Ean uses in the video on the home page seems pretty dope but not sure what brand it is..

Old thread on djforums == old information.

Almost every well known DJ has made the switch. Especially Traktor Pro posterboy Richie Hawtin.
Dubfire or Funk d'Void had some issues with Traktor Pro 1.2.3, but it was nothing a switchback to TP 1.2.2 couldn't solve.

Some reading on this site and forums could have pointed you to the MIDIfighter controller, regarding Ean's controller.
