Really?
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that Bin Laden's dead, but I dont believe the US army has got anything to do with it. I can't help but think that his death coincides with the fact there's 12 million nerds unable to play Call of Duty for two weeks, and one of them has finally lost it.

Is it just me that finds this whole thing highly dodgy?

They found out about where he was last August and waited 8 months before going there? They apparently ID'd and found Osama's "courier" 4 years ago but only 2 years ago found out what he did, and only last August where he lived and that it was the same place where Osama was housed. 4 years to find this out. Really?? I mean, the World's superpower with apparent best intel the World. 4 years to trace someone to being Osama's courier and where he lived.

Then, they've buried him at sea immediately without anyone able to confirm why. Their helicopter that they came in on got "damaged" and they then left on "their other aircraft". Pretty convenient they had a second aircraft there hidden in the bushes outside Osama's house! Obama's support flagging after the whole "first black president" hype and an election coming up next year.

And all this happens the day after US-led NATO illegally target Gaddafi's sons house in Libya, knowing Gaddafi and his wife were there and get slated for a clear and illegal assassination attempt, killing Gaddafi's son and 3 grandkids who were all innocent. If they knew he was there why not send troops round there to catch him too rather than bomb the place and kill innocent civilians? Whether you think one way or the other about Gaddafi's running of Libya, it was still an illegal assassination attempt.

The only image I could find is below (may be disturbing for some people - which without sounding or intending to be racist) could easily be anyone from an arab/asian background.

I find it all very dodgy!

What is wrong with the world that everyone's celebrating a single man's death when the government have far more to answer for.

ha! That's a fucking disgrace. Man this whole thing stinks so bad, it almost could be true. Surely they couldn't feed such tripe to people and expect them to believe it.. again (sweet 9/11 conspiracy reference)

For someone whose worked pretty close to a lot of international matters I tend to believe that Usama was captured and killed in Abbottabad. Operations like these do not happen like Hollywood portrayals and a lot (and I mean alot) of deliberation and planning goes into something this sensitive. The second and third order of effects of his death will continue for quite some time and the immediate political situation between the US and Pak is stressed to say the least.
Remember Sec State Clinton's remarks a few months back lamenting Pak's stonewalling on intel issues. Coupled with the agent jailed in Pak a month back after killing two Pakistanis? You don't think Raymond Davis as a "forward observer" didn't have something to do with this? Looking back on these headlines and others it is pretty obvious we had something big going on for a while over there.
But I guess it's much easier for the arm chair conspiracy theorists to fill in the blanks typically afforded to an under-informed public. Hell, who can blame them?
