Choose between a MAC or a PC is not about tech specifications, specially for djing, that doesn't need soo much CPU power.
You need to keep in mind that with Windows you will have to do A LOT of tweeks and personalizations to get your system ready to DJing with the lowest latency possible.
If you check this great article from Chris you will understand what I mean:

"Macs are better than PCs. It’s true that straight out of the box Macs tend to be easier to set up. The built in support for music hardware in their operating systems is stronger in OSX, but most audio hardware will have ASIO drivers – a third party driver system that allows direct and low latency connection between the system and the audio – written for it for use in Windows. ASIO provides comparable and sometimes even better latencies than OSX’s CoreAudio drivers."
I agree with Chris but with Mac you can buy a Firewire interface and have extremelly low latency, so I still think that choosing a Mac is a big win for everyone messing with audio.
I always say to my friends that choose between Mac and "others" is a matter of how the mac softwares are better then the others and not just hardware specifications.
We are too much used to compare just specifications because in many years we didn't had to compare Operational Systems, the majority of them was Windows, we get used to it...
The safe choice is to compare O.S. and the softwares that you want to use on Thinkpad and Macbook.
