I stand up most of the time, but my S4 is a bit low so if I have been mixing for a bit I might have a little sit down when my back starts hurting, but it's all about the dancing about while you're mixing.

Dancing definitely helps me beatmatch.

i think taking attention away from putting together the best possible for mix for the crowd in front of you to dance and wave your hands in the air is a direct insult to the people who paid to hear you play.

- physio ball
prone extensions
reverse extensions
Romanian deadlifts
spinal rotations

but then again..i wouldn't mind finding a nice high bar chair for when i do want to sit at home...

I just got one. It's nice to have but I find I usually still stand 99% of the time. There's just to much energy to sit.

i got no problem with my dj having a good time behind the decks...just dont play shoes in the dryer...and dont slack...

By dance I mean a little bit of a dance, not a full on rave in the booth, I don't wanna be standing there looking bored

For me I feel like I have to sit when I'm doing configuration stuff: setting up mappings, organizing samples, stuff like that. But the rest of the time I find it vastly preferable to stand. It's pretty essential to get a good laptop stand, too (I use the stanton uberstand.)
