it's called "spinning" to grab some content from the net and convert it into a new bit of text that hopefully google won't realise is the same as the original. not very effective these days - tho it would seem they think it might work ok on forums

either words are checked against a thesaurus to see if alternatives are available or the whole doc is convert say from english to french and then back to english via an online translation service.

So, which is a better buy? The DJM-250 or the DJM-350?

I'll be picking one up for mobile gigs. I should have some parties lined up where having less gear would be great. I picked up Denon CDJs just for that fact. I love bringing all my gear but for events where I'm expected to play a certain kind of music or a certain way just having a 2 channel mixer and CDJs will be perfect.

After using this mixer at BPM i was very disappointed, i think the whole thing felt very cheap and tacky and lacked that 'Pioneer' touch. Faders felt cheap and plasticy, filters were hard and irritating and the stupid LED's did my head in and the EQ's felt like something Behringer make..

That's my 2 cents after using it. Kinda disappointed as i thought this could have been great for guys on budgets. Obviously it still can but come on Pio!

@Liambo that's sad to hear I'll definitely have to give a good try then before I order one. Hopefully I feel a little bit different. I think I'll be able to forgive some things as they can't be building the same quality mixer for that price point. Well see...

It's a $400 mixer from a company that's really good at making overpriced mixers and getting them put into clubs. I'm not going to take away from the effects sections of the DJM-900, but they all feel cheap compared to similarly-priced competitors…to my hands.

And this thing costs twice what a 002xl does. What does it add? Digital filters and a slightly better metering setup if you can read it in the dark despite being so cramped.

    Great.

It is ashame, but as you said you may feel different about it. I think the A&H feels a much better and stronger mixer compared to it.

But if you put me in the position that i had to chose the A&H or the 250.. I would chose the 250, no idea why. I just would. At BPM the 250 kept me playing around with it longer than the A&H did even though i was more impressed with the 22. So even to my negative attitude towards it i was still impressed.

    Weird how that works.

    Your view is skewed!

You played on the 250 for longer as you needed a longer time to get it to work right. Thinking that maybe you were not doing it right and doubting yourself.

Probably also thinking subconsiously "IS it really this shit?" Try again.

Also, due to Pioneer being the club standard for years, its hard to break away from that. Its like...its a Pioneer, surely its OK.

Having had a DJM600 and playing on the DJM800 at my residency, I can say that I feel A&H is a much better built, thought out mixer.

You see, the DJM800 is a cool mixer...so playing with a 250 and finding it not to be in the 800's league is dissapointing.

A&H's mixers are all build the same I would wager to say.

I have the Xone:22 at home at the moment....and while its not the best LOOKER of mixers....its a fucking tank. I can BASH that thing and its just butter.

So in conclusion, I would say that you can ALWAYS trust A&H, but can;t say the same for Pioneer.

    +1

Not all Pioneer stuff is built the same. I just dont see the love and attention to detail in every Pioneer mixer that i see in EVERYTHING A&H make.

How about the sound ? Which sounds best ? I don't really know a lot about mixers' soundcard and all.

I am currently trying to figure out if i order the xone:22 or the djm-250 and I don't know
