The problem was that voting was done through facebook, and Guetta has 24million fans and he campaigned for it like he was running for President. It's not DJ mag anymore, it's become pop mag.

Armin is right about calling it the DJ Mag top 100 most popular DJ.
(He has always been honest about not being the best DJ, but the most popular DJ at that moment.)

There's no doubt that the list does contain wall to wall serious DJ talent. But I'm guessing that a huge number of those DJs loitering in the bottom end of the 100 could destroy David Guetta at a gig.

It's all about popularity, and who has the best marketing machine. It's all a rather pointless exercise, and ultimately meaningless, especially when you consider the total absence of some huge DJ names.

Anyway, lists like these are meaningless unless you are a high-cost DJ that needs 30k gigs 4 times or more each month.
