Beer + Laptop is surely a real fear...

Already lost one keyboard to beer, so everytime i buy a new laptop, i go to ebay and order 2 brand new keyboards for it just in case...

Of course it won't save your set (that's back-up cds are for...) but it will save your equipment...

Biggest DJ fear- EMP grenades, Super Soakers, and a light blowing out and by some freak accident, spraying flames instead of awesome light effects. But alas, i have a wild imagination

biggest fear: after something breaks down (equipment, software, power, my brain) that i can't get the sound back running FAST ENOUGHT so the vibe drops down.

until now, i managed to get the right pumping beat back to the floor fast enough after i failed something. (pressing cue at the wrong deck, putting the crossfader to one side with my pullover/headphone cable, ejecting the wrong disc and so on ;o)

a short fail is not the worst thing, i feel it much worse if you can't get back on track in the "until the vibe is crashed" time-span is over which you have a few seconds after the fail ;o)
